It's Complicated

Stained tissue paper, charcoal, acrylic ink

Beginning with a base of acrylic ink and water, I added layers of shades of pigment powders and acrylic paint. Additionally, I used charcoal and stained paper for marks and shapes. My love and appreciation of nature and its ornaments of beauty inspired me to realize that nothing is permanent and that nature's beauty within any one moment is fleeting.
