I wanted to write this blog to share, to ask questions, and to consider other perspectives.
My intention for this blog not only celebrates our individuality but also my passion for spirituality and living with greater awareness. That greater awareness is about looking at myself but also noticing each other’s beautiful humanity that includes the inevitable struggles and wins.
One of my core beliefs is,
if our heartfelt desire is to create a better life and a better world, it requires us to look at how we ourselves are being.
Because my intention for this blog is to celebrate our individuality, I’ll share my experiences. The blog will include real-life experiences, both the good and the less good. I’m not perfect but I’m learning. I’ll be sharing what it took for me and is still taking to live the kind of life I do now. Which, for the most part, is pretty awesome.
Blogging is beneficial as we openly share with each other. It’s a beautiful way to honor our similar and vastly different experiences. The more we share, the more we realize our shared connection.
While my intention for this blog celebrates individuality, we don’t need to have exactly the same experiences.
We certainly don’t need like-mindedness in order to appreciate each other and recognize each other’s value.
Some of the best blogs I’ve read are by people who aren’t necessarily great at grammar and punctuation. But they’re great at sharing their story. I’m so impressed at how these individuals put themselves out there. They’re not motivated to be perfect at writing but they’re motivated to touch.
I have so much appreciation for these writers. They inspire, motivate, and encourage me to put myself out there as they have.
What I’ll be writing about will probably morph over time. In the meantime, I’ll be allowing my commas to land correctly, or not. And to allow my feelings and words to fall as they may.
